Child Safety Commitment Statement

Aerosport Allstars is committed to ensuring the safety, wellbeing and empowerment of all children accessing our services and programs including indigenous children, children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and children with disabilities.

Aerosport Allstars has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of child abuse. We support the rights of all children and we will act immediately to ensure a safe environment is maintained where all children and participants feel safe, valued, respected, and empowered.

We will take conscious actions and proactive behaviours to protect the safety and wellbeing of children. We will ensure all members feel comfortable to report any inappropriate behaviour.

We recognise that all staff, parents, volunteers, administrators, and participants must understand the important responsibilities of child safety and are educated sufficiently to ensure an environment which children and participants feel safe, valued, respected and empowered. We acknowledge these groups and individuals provide a valuable contribution to children’s positive involvement in sport.

Together, we will create an environment conducive to positive sport participation by ensuring our club environment is safe, respectful and empowering.
